The first verse is the imagination of the guy about their past and the feeling that he never know with her best friend. The second verse tells about the realization of the guy about his feeling for the girl and believes that it’s not too late for him to show and let her feel the love that he have for her best friend. The third verse is compared to a movie plot, like what we used to see in the movie that best friends become more that best of friends but become lovers or maybe become strangers.

In this verse the guy is afraid on telling how he feels for the girl because he sees the girl being happy with another guy.

In this line the guy prays that the girl would love her back as much as he loves the girl.
